Superbamente situato su Chaussee de Charleroi, appena oltre Avenue Louise, famosa per i suoi negozi di alta qualita'. Le camere sono di medie dimensioni, nel tipico stile NH, moderne ed accoglienti. Offrono la maggior parte degli accessori che ci si aspetta da un hotel di questo livello. Sia le camere che le stanze da bagno sono in buone condizioni. Posizionata nel livello inferiore, la sala colaizone e' ampia, mentre all'ingresso dell'hotel e' inoltre presente una caffetteria , affacciata sulla strada. L'edificio che ospita l'hotel è una struttura moderna, un blocco costruito appositamente per quello scopo. La piccola lobby si trova qualche scalino piu' sotto ed e' caratterizzata da pavimento in marmo ed una zona ricevimento in legno e marmo. I posti a sedere sono limitati. Un buon albergo in una posizione meravigliosa, appena fuori Avenue Louise, famosa per i suoi famosi negozi di marca ed i buoni ristoranti. Per gli amanti del souvenir antico è d'obbligo una visita al Mercato delle Pulci di Sablon e al Quartiere degli antiquari. C'è molto da vedere quindi: noi vi consigliamo le 10 cose da vedere e fare assolutamente durante una visita a Bruxelles. L'Atomium è una singolare struttura che si trova nel Parco Heysel, nella periferia nord di Bruxelles. Alta circa 102 metri, rappresenta un cristallo di ferro ingrandito 165 miliardi di volte. Costruito per l'Esposizione Internazionale del 1958. L'Ilot Sacrè (Isola Sacra) è il quadrilatero che si trova proprio alle spalle della Grand Place, nel centro di Bruxelles. Un intrigo di viuzze molto caratteristico anche se perennemente intasato di turisti, tavolini di caffè e ristoranti (soprattutto in Rue des Bouchers) e negozi di souvenir. Mannequin Pis a Bruxelles Uno dei simboli della città di Bruxelles è il soggetto in bronzo di una fontana raffigurante un bambino che fa pipì, chiamato in fiammingo 'Mannequin pis' o in francese 'l'enfant qui pisse'. Una delle leggende più conosciute sul piccolo Julien, quella che lo vuole come salvatore della città. La storia racconta che fece la pipì sulla miccia di una bomba, salvando così Bruxelles. all'angolo tra Rue de la Vieux marché aux Grains et de la rue des Chartreux, potete trovare anche il cane che fa la pipì. I piatti tipici sono: I famosi cavoletti di bruxelles, il 'moules et frites', letteralmente 'cozze e patatine'.il Belgio ha un'antica e riconosciuta tradizione di maestri cioccolatieri. Altra specialità sono le gauffres o waffel, cialde morbidissime cotte sulla piastra. Potete mangiarle semplici o farcite con Nutella, panna, crema, o frutta. I biscotti 'speculoos' fatti con le spezie, tra le quali primeggia la cannella, molto utilizzata a Bruxelles, cucinati solitamente per la festa di San Nicola. Potete comprarli nelle boulangeries, nei biscottifici, oppure al supermercato: i migliori sono quelli della Lotus. Per gli amanti della birra, la tradizionale birra belga, detta 'bière blanche' (birra bianca), va assaggiata senza dubbio.
